Valentine's Cocktails To Impress

Uncorking a bottle of champagne and pouring it into a glass is not impressive. Here are four simple and elegant Valentine's Day inspired cocktails that will get your loved one to ask "ok, where did you learn to make this?" We won't tell.


Ruby Rose Spritzer



1 ½ oz.  Vodka
1 oz. Grapefruit-Rose Cordial
½ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1 ½ oz. Brut Rose Champagne (Add after shake)

Add all ingredients into mixing tin, except for rose champagne! Add ice and shake vigorously. Now add 1 ½ oz. rose champagne into mixing tin, and double strain with tea strainer, into etched martini coupe. Grapefruit Rose, Half Hibiscus Sugar Rim.

Make Me Melt



1½ oz Raspberry Vodka (Absolut or Stoli)
1½ oz Orange Vodka (Absolut or Stoli)
1 oz Chambord
1 oz Sprite
1 orange peel
1 whole strawberry

In a mixing glass, muddle 1 whole strawberry.  Add raspberry and orange vodka and shake vigorously.  Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass and add Sprite.  Top with Chambord and garnish with an orange peel.

Kettle One Berry Sweetheart



2 oz Ketel One Vodka
1 oz raspberry syrup
2 fresh raspberries
2½ oz Pineapple juice

Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a rose petal.


Tanqueray Fizz


Tanqueray Fizz

1 oz Tanqueray gin
½ oz Grand Marnier
Chilled Champagne or sparkling wine<

Pour the Tanqueray gin and Grand Marnier into a champagne flute. Top with chilled Champagne.
