Irish Mojito

Irish Mojito

March 6, 2013 1

Irish Mojito by Jacopo FalleniINGREDIENTS:

2 oz. Jameson Irish Whisky
3 lime wedges
10 mint leaves
3/4 oz. simple syrup or Demerara suger
Top with HARP beer

PREPARATION:

What do you get when you cross a Cuban with an Irishman? Well we are about to find out!

Just like a classic mojito we will start by muddling the mint leaves, limes and sugar until all the juice is extracted. Now add the Whiskey (instead of Rum as the classic recipe will call for) shake for 5 fast seconds and pour into a long drink glass or highball on the rocks. Lastly, top it off with some good Irish lager beer, Im using HARP (instead than Soda like the classic cocktail) and ENJOY!

The color is light green with the dancing fresh mint leaves with a scent that is citrusy delicious. The taste is fresh with the zing the limes, quickyright after huged and warmed up from the wjhiskey and the beer…a perfect drink for your St patrick day party !

“St. Patrick… one of the few saints whose feast day presents the opportunity to get determinedly whacked and make a fool of oneself all under the guise of acting Irish.”
