The Bonfire Shelter

Created by Jonathan Harris, The Bonfire Shelter was a winner of the ARTini competition and is inspired by the Albert Bierstadt’s painting the Last of The Buffalo.

Lemon Peel
Celery bitters
French Orange Liqueur 
Bison-grass infused whiskey
Scotch
Chartruese
Bonfire Shelter Perfume 

Rub a small lemon peel inside a rocks glass. Add a dash of celery bitters, then a 1/4 ounce of a french orange liqueur,  1/2 ounce of bison-grass infused whiskey, 1 ounce of scotch, and  Chartruese. Top off with a small layer of 6 year old scotch. Add specially made Bonfire Shelter perfume.

The name Bonfire Shelter refers to a special cliff used by the Plane Indians as “jumps” to hunt bison and buffalo. Indians would heard the buffalo and start a stampede to drive the buffalo off the cliff into the rocks below. Learn more here.
