Once in a while a product comes around that could reshape an industry forever. A brand new energy drink called West Coast Chill is probably NOT that item, but the can it comes in could be.
The idea is simple, push a button and the beverage in your can drops in temperature thirty degrees in three minutes. This would drop it to an emergency beer drinking level on a hot day but would not compete with refrigeration. Nevertheless it is a giant leap in the right direction.
When a button on the bottom of the can is depressed it introduces a small amount of carbon dioxide to an organic renewable vegetable stored in the walls of the can. Throw in some words like activated carbon and heat sink transfer and you have yourself some cool down magic. The biggest concern would be the inner can system would take up a large amount of space that would be occupied by the liquid but the cooling from inside out concept have got us here at Drinking Made Easy giddy with excitement.
