Beer drinkers may have noticed the recent resurgence of the beer can with more and more craft breweries embracing the can. In the 80, cans dominated the marketplace with 55-60% of all beer consumed through cans. Then through the mid nineties beer bottles started to make a significant comeback. Something about bottles has been connected to quality while cans began to receive a negative stigma of being cheap. In the last decade bottles overtook cans most likely to the rise of the craft beer movement. But now, more and more craft beer breweries have begun to shift their beer production for cans.
